The G5420T Electromatic Classic Hollow Body Single-Cut with Bigsby features a laminated maple body with vintage-inspired perimeters and refined arches, as well as all-new trestle block bracing to help reduce unwanted feedback. The new trestle block design increases rigidity and contact between the top and back of the body, resulting in a faster attack with more focus, snap, and increased sustain. Coupled with the all-new FT-5E Filter'Tron pickups, this hollow build's voice explodes with a huge, full-bodied punch, a classic chime, and enhanced presence, clarity, and note definition.

An all-new Classic C-shaped maple neck offers a more comfortable playing feel for improved playability and performance, and is topped with a 12-inch radius laurel fingerboard. The G5420T features a versatile upgraded control layout including master volume with a treble bleed circuit, master tone, individual pickup volume controls, a three-position pickup toggle switch, oversized bound F-holes, multi-ply body binding, a smaller late 50s G6120 bound headstock, vintage-style open-back tuning machines, a Graph Tech NuBone nut, pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, a secured Adjusto-Matic bridge, and a Bigsby B60 vibrato tailpiece.

The G5420T Gretsch Electromatic Classic Hollow Body Guitar is a 6-string guitar ideal for right-handed playing, with a laminated maple body, a bolt-on maple neck, a 12-inch radius laurel fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, and pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays. It is equipped with an Adjusto-Matic bridge with a Secured Laurel Base, a three-way toggle switch for selecting the neck pickup, the bridge pickup, or both, and separate volume controls for each pickup, as well as a master tone control for shaping your sound.
