Gretsch proudly introduces two Ash snares to the newly designed Silver Series snare drums, specifically developing the Ash-formula shell for a sharper, more aggressive sound characteristic. The visual aesthetic of the shell lets the true beauty of ash show through, with the construction process and natural open-grain finishing technique ensuring that no two drums will look alike. Satin natural lacquer and chrome hardware add to the boutique look of the new Gretsch Ash snare drums.

The 7x13" Snare Drum features a 7-ply (7.2 mm) Ash-formula shell with a Bolt-on Silver Series round badge, a satin natural finish, and chrome hardware. It boasts a 30-degree bearing edge, 8 Lugs, and 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops, along with a Gretsch by Remo coated batter head and a Gretsch by Remo clear resonant head.
