Gretsch Catalina Maple CM1 4-Piece Shell Pack with 22 Bass Drum - Walnut Glaze

The new Gretsch Catalina Maple series boasts innovative and sleek hardware designs, each component meticulously crafted for functionality, performance, and style. The result is a great-sounding Gretsch drum set that is ergonomically improved and features a fresh, contemporary design aesthetic.

The mounting hardware includes a round "gas cap" bass drum mount plate, an ultra-low-profile GTS mounting system, reduced-mass tom mount brackets, and new single and double tom holders. Both tom holders include a post hole for a 7/8" cymbal tube post (not included). The ball/socket 12.7mm L-arms provide positioning freedom and a secure hold for stability. Gretsch T-Wing screws and bolts are included on all fittings for a drummer-friendly feel, and rubber isolators have been added to the die-cast bass drum claws to help keep bass drum hoops looking new. To complete the balanced design aesthetic, a new black/gold Catalina Maple round badge is included on all drums.

The new Gretsch Catalina Maple series also features many drum characteristics that have made the Catalina Maple series a popular choice among drummers. The shell is a 7-ply Gretsch-formula maple shell with 30-degree bearing edges and natural shell interiors. Bass drums include telescopic bass drum spurs matching maple wood bass drum hoops. Toms/snare feature 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops. All drums are fitted with Remo drum heads, including coated batters and clear resonant on toms/snare, and a clear bass drum batter head with a muffle ring. The white Gretsch bass drum logo head includes a muffle ring.

The new lacquer finishes include Satin Deep Cherry Burst and Walnut Glaze, along with new wrap finishes Aqua Sparkle and Black Bronze Sparkle. The drum kit includes a 6"x14" Snare Drum, a 12"x8" Tom, a 16"x16" Tom, and a 22"x18" Bass Drum, all featuring Gretsch-formula 7-ply maple shells, the round Catalina Maple badge, and Remo drumheads. The 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops and 30-degree bearing edge provide a distinctive tone and response, while the new Gretsch bass drum mount plate and bass drum claw with gasket, along with the new tom holder design with a cymbal holder and the new low-profile Gretsch tom bracket, contribute to the drum set's overall improved ergonomics and contemporary design.
